First we form a wire frame for the hand. 
Leave a lot of extra wire at the wrists.
then twist the figers and the wrist
next we cover with masking tape (any paper tape will do)
I like to build the hand up with a little hot glue.
if we are useing gesso for the finish, position the hand as you want it to be.
now we need to dip and dry. This will take a while and you want to allow excess to drip. Make sure your latex or gesso is thin enough to coat and not clog but thick enough to cling. Think of a buttermilk consistancy.
